Insurance Information
Here is some good news, for most people involved in car accidents there is no out of pocket expense to be paid to a chiropractor!
Insurance Coverage
This is because the majority of drivers are covered by Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage. PIP coverage is a form of car insurance that is meant to cover an injured person's medical expenses that result from a car accident. For Oregon drivers, PIP coverage is mandatory. For Washington drivers, PIP coverage is optional. If you are a Washington driver and do not carry PIP coverage, but have been in a car accident that was not your fault, your expenses may still be covered through what is known as 3rd Party coverage. Even if you are not covered by insurance, we do accept cash patients.
Making a Strong Case for Compensation
It is important to note that when dealing with insurance companies it is essential to make a case or claim that is as strong as possible. That means not only should your doctor be able to properly diagnose injuries, but also document those injuries. The doctors at The Car Accident Injury Center have been thoroughly trained in the use of motion x-rays, which are specially designed to show ligamentis instability. Diagnosing ligamentis instability is important because this type of damage can have long lasting effects. Our doctors have also been trained is using Colossus (a ranking system used by most insurance companies), which means they know how to document your injuries and make you a detailed case, so you are compensated fairly.
